Her name fits her perfectly, she is the sweetest boxer, with big soft eyes, gentle with humans and with other dogs…. she is special! Sweetie Pie is a walking miracle, a reminder that miracles still do happen today! At the age of 4 weeks she choked on puppy food and I did everything I could to get it out, but she soon was lying still, and her heart stopped beating. At the last resort, not really believing it would help, I held my hand around her mouth and blew into it, 3 times, chest compressions followed. Her heart started beating… she began to breathe…. but she was far from fine… the vet gave her no chances of survival… but I took her home and did all I could to make her comfortable……2 days of wishing I had never revived her followed… she was not “with it” she screamed in pain and threw up blood… But at the end of day 2 she looked into my eyes… recognized me and I picked her up to be covered in doggy kisses…. she was thanking me for saving her life…… I cried tears of joy and am still thanking God for my miracle 🙂
