Mack!

Hi Brenda, Our chocolate lab, Mack, turned 1 year old this month and is doing great!  Mack is a great dog – he’s kind, very healthy and active (and yes, a bit mischievous). We want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.  We are very grateful for the love you have shared with us by letting us make Mack a part of our family. Love, Betsy and  Jim McKnight

Sophie!
Hi Brenda,  We wanted to give you an update on Sophie. She's about 60 pounds at 9 1/2 months. We attached a couple photos. She is so sweet, loving, and cute. We get compliments on her disposition and appearance all the time. She has tons of human and dogs friends. She seems to like dogs best, then kids, and then adults, but here tail goes crazy when she meets any of the above. She greets us with an adorable wiggle and lots of kisses and hugs when we get home each day. Sophie loves going for hikes on the trails nearby and visiting the dog park. We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family.
Thanks so much for giving us our baby!  Cassidy and Andrew

Choco!!

Well chocolate aka choco is a very big happy puppy. He just  turned one on December 12. Our family could not be more happy with him, even though he does little damages we still love him and take good care of him. My dad spoils choco all the time. Choco also knows certain tricks that we taught him, such as sit, lay down and to give paw. I just wanted to thank you for giving us this wonderful dog that's part of our family now.

Phinn & Luna

Hi Brenda Been awhile since I talked to you and I wanted to send you a picture of Phinn and Luna. Everywhere we go we get complimented on how well behaved and beautiful they are. Everyone seems to pick their favorite, Phinn's colors or Luna's brindle stripes. Their personalities are just as different as their markings! Phinn is the clown and into mischievousness and making you laugh. Luna is our soulful girl, she wants to stare into your eyes and give you kisses. As you can see from the pictures they have come a long way since we picked them up. At 10 months old both are over 70 lbs and still going. They love truck rides, swimming and playing in the local parks and they are never far from each other. They are happy and healthy and very much loved by everyone they meet! Thank you for such great animals. Kris and Nikk Parents Yukon & Sally 2011

Shadow!

Back in January my family and I bought a dog from you. Her name then was
Anna. Her name now is Shadow ( as she tends to follow our son every where he
goes). I just wanted to send you and update on her and some pictures. She  is
growing wonderfully. She is the sweetest pet, always watching out for everyone
else but herself. She has been a god send for our son. We wanted to thank  you
again. Here are some pictures of her taken over the winter and especially  the
last few months.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures. I also have a friend looking for a  Labrador
Retriever so if you have any puppies coming please let me know as he  would
love one. Thank you again for such a wonderful addition to our  family. She is
a perfect mix on calm and strength, love and joy. She never fails  to let us
know that's she's watching. She is very amusing to watch with the  children who
love her dearly.  Our lives are deeply enriched because of the  wonderful
puppies you've bred. For that we are grateful. Thank you again.

Hi Brenda,  I just wanted to thank you for our beautiful pups, Blanca and Elvis they have settled in nicely and are doing great. Blanca weighed in at 16 lbs and Elvis 18 lbs a couple of weeks ago! They are such a huge part of our family and get so much love and attention! Both are really smart; Blanca has learned a few hand signals (stay, lay down, no and thumbs up for good girl). Elvis knows his name, come, sit, stay and no, he is also very protective of his sister and constantly looks after her, they are inseparable!  We love them both very much and can't thank you enough for our beautiful pups.   Catherine and Sebastian Parents are Sweetie Pie & Yukon

Ruby!

Hi Brenda,
I wanted to let you know that Ruby is doing wonderfully! She has only
been home one week and I'm amazed at how well she's aclimated to her
new life and schedule already.
She has only had a handful of accidents since being home, and knows
exactly what she's suppose to do when she goes outside.
Her crate training is going well. She has only had one accident in
there, and even then I think she tried to hold it for as long as
possible.
The woman who comes to let her out during the day just adores here,
and says that she's the cutest puppy ever. EVERYONE just falls over
her. She's adorable!
She is such a funny little dog who is FULL of personality, but is also
a huge snuggle bug!
Thank you so much for raising such a wonderful dog! You can tell that
she is sooo well adjusted, and carefree.

Izzi!

Hi Brenda, Izzi is growing and her personality is really showing thru now.  There is nothing cuter in the whole world.  Thanks for everything.  Kristen

Hi Brenda,  Thought I'd catch you up on Izzi.  We just had her to her second check
up.  I walk in to the building with her and every technician, receptionist
and 2 vets come out and make such a fuss over her.  She loves it of course.
They said sunshine and a puppy bulldog- what a perfect morning.  She weighs
19 lbs now and she's gorgeous and what a character.  If we could just get
her semi house trained.  I hope in another month she'll be doing better.
I'll send pictures soon.  We took her to Cleveland to meet my daughter and
her one year old Doberman..  They were fantastic together.  Vader was so
gentle with her and Izzi never backed down for one second.  She loved the
wrestling with Vader.Easter, Abby's bringing her Boxer, Mia. We'll see how
those two get along.  I don't worry about Izzi- she loves other dogs.  Mia
does too for the most part.  Remember we got Mia from you.  I'll try to get
pictures of the two of them to send to you. Talk again soon.  Kristen

Riley

I wanted to touch base with you and let you know that Riley is doing fantastic.  He has already taken over the house and loves to take all his naps on our couch.  He eats great and barely cries at night.  I have discovered that as long as he can see us from his crate at night, he is happy and ok.  As long as he hear us talking he won't cry.  It is quite comical at 2:30 in the am when I take him out of his crate and to his pee pee area . .going back to sleep I am singing him songs so he wont cry . .it works!!! Hysterical!!!

He is gorgeous!!  I am attaching a funny picture as to how he sleeps!!

Hope all is well with you and the rest of the puppies!!

I am attaching a recent picture of him and let me tell you he LOVES the pool.  We can no longer go in by ourselves because he loves to take a dip with his toy by himself!

Barkley!

Hi Brenda,  I just wanted to keep you posted with how Starbuck/Barkley is doing. I meant to send some pics at 6mos, but time got away from me. He recently graduated from puppy school and is very well-behaved. He can sit, lay down, stay, shake, jump through hoops, you name it!  He's about 55lbs now but he still loves to sit on the very top of the couch, like he is in the picture. I'd have to say his specialty is cuddling. We have to fight ourselves to not let him stay in the bed with us. Thanks so much for such an awesome dog. We love him so much! Sammy Jo!

Thank you Brenda and family for making our days special now that we have li'l Sammy Jo. She is such a character and she makes us laugh. We love our Lab Cali and our Min-pin Leo... But bulldogs, we are finding out, are in a class of their own: Sammy sure has the most unique personality out of the bunch here at our house. She's doing great with the other dogs and animals here and is easily accepted. The grandchildren really like her, and they get along well together (respecting each other's toys!). She's good with children and has a sweet and fun-loving disposition. We enjoyed visiting with you and your children and your beautiful dogs the other day, and we were impressed how much Sammy Jo affectionately remembered you all! DeLeon's Antebellum Pearl

Hey Brenda! Hope all is well with you! Just wanted to give you an update. We have had an odd Winter. Only this past week have things been semi-nice enough to go out and play very much...and man have we!!!
Crate training is going well, as is feeding. We had a bit of an issue of "alpha female" roles, but I am spending more one on one time with her and (right now) we are doing well with that also.
She has the most fabulous disposition. She rides w me a lot and is wonderful. (But boy, does she have a "get back at ya bone"! Lol) She is super smart and loves charging up and down the stairs!  Her agility has much improved and continues to do as such with each passing day. She gets along with the boys splendidly! We have tons of compliments on her personality, disposition and beauty everywhere we roam!!!

Hi Brenda,  I just wanted to give you an update on Granite and let  you know how he is doing.  His new name is Gunnar and he is the greatest puppy. He is growing quickly and now weighs 25 lbs.  He is going to Puppy Kindergarten and doing really well.   He is so smart and a real gentlemen.  He never jumps up on anyone, but he does do that boxer wiggle whenever he sees someone he knows. My three grandchildren  just love him and he loves them.  They live three houses down from me and whenever I take him out, he immediately turns in the direction of their house.  They are always asking for Gunnar to come over.  Everyone who meets him thinks he is just a beautiful and friendly dog.  He loves everyone and every dog he meets.   He is even having fun playing with a couple of my cats. I have attached a couple of recent pictures so you can see how handsome he is.  He has decided that he likes to relax in the cat bed.  Pretty soon he won’t fit. He is a really great dog and I am so happy to have him. Lynne Clarke

Styles & Sheek

Hi Brenda! So sorry for the delay but attached are pictures of Sheek (aka Applejack), Styles and Jada.  Things have been super busy and unfortunately we lost Jada to a better place a few months ago so we're still adjusting to life without her.  On a happier note, Sheek adjusted very quickly into our lives.  He is by far the happiest puppy I've ever met.  And he's the cutest so I can never be mad at him no matter how bad he is!  As you can see from the pictures, he is never far from his big brother Styles and loves snuggling up with him.  The two of them love to wrestle and run around the house.  I was worried about bringing another male dog into our house because I thought there would be aggression issues but neither of them have an aggressive bone in their bodies.  They love everyone and every animal they meet.  He's been healthy and happy from day one and we love having him in our family.  Thank you so much for another wonderful little bulldog.  I hope all is well with you, your family and BJ's Farm. Thanks!  Lori and Chris Flint Sheek was born 8-20-10 Parents Ellie & Winston

Elsie is one of the best dogs we have ever owned. She is quick to learn and eagar to please. She came to us well socialized and not afraid of a thing! She has become quite the family "vaccum" cleaner. She loves to clean the floor after the kids have eaten. She enjoys the company of the kids and wants to be held and cuddled. She loves her crate and has learned to go into it when we tell her to "go to your house". She is incredibly smart and we just love her! Thanks so much for a wonderful bulldog. We have definatley learned that with a bulldog, they are like potato chips, you can never have just one. Can't wait until we can get our next one! Thanks again! Dale and Rebecca Comstock

Juliet!

Dear Brenda, Words cannot express our sincerest appreciation to you and your family for breeding and raising such wonderful dogs and puppies! Our experience from meeting Juliet at 4 weeks until we got to take her home at 8 weeks was wonderful. We were so excited each week to see new pictures of her that you sent us. We loved watching her grow! You answered all our questions and concerns about bringing her home to meet our older bulldog - we felt more then confident that we could handle the introductions of our new addition. Juliet just adores Otis and he is now a protective big brother.
Brenda, thanks most of all for just being you! I have enjoyed all of our emails and conversations, I feel as though I gained a friend. You have been more then kind. We are all in love with our precious Juliet and will continue to share her future with you! Forever grateful, Michele

Penny!

Hi Brenda,I just wanted to give you an update on Spice.  My fiance has renamed her Penny.  I'll tell you she thinks she's a person, she stands vertically at the window and when ever she wants to be picked up.  And when I say vertically I mean straight up.  When you do try to pick her up she pushes her back legs out to slide as she is lifted.  She is always ready to give people kisses.  She has made a major impact on our family and is full of happiness.
I have seen the new litter and they look amazing.  We are struggling on whether or not to show Penny.  She seems to be almost as tall as our last bullly we owned was as an adult.  Are any of her simblings still with you?  I hope this finds doing well. ~Mark

Two Ton Tubs

Hi Brenda, I just wanted to give you an update on out little Tubs, or should I say our Big Tubs. He is doing great! he now weighs 21.2 lbs.  He is doing an excellent job with house training. He has also been doing a great job with the crate. He goes right in when he is instructed to and even goes in on his own at times. The first couple of nights he did great. He went in and laid down right away. When we first got him home he was very excited and was going after feet and fingers. He has already learned not to bite and shows his affection with a lot of kisses. We got another 8 inches of snow today and he had a blast! He had a great time playing each time we took him out. We shoveled a big trail for him in our back yard, but he had a great time plowing through the big mounds of snow. He also loves going over to my parent's house to play with their lab Sadie. I told Catherine that she is very lucky. He is such a good dog and a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you again for everything and helping us bring so much more joy to our family.Jen Two Ton Tubs was born on 10-16-2010 Parents Butter Cup & Winston

Hi Brenda, Thank you so much for the pictures of Patches! She is beautiful! I can see a lot of Patches in Sundae aka "Karli".   We decided to go with the name Sundae because her coat reminds us a lot like an ice cream Sundae and her personality is so sweet like an ice cream sundae.  She's fitting in perfectly within our family. My mom actually bought us an artificial grass pad for her to use the bathroom indoors on days that are really rainy or ugly out and she seems to love it!  I can tell you we spend the majority of our time playing with Sundae and giving her all of the attention and love she deserves.  We've already taught her how to sit, stay and come. Staying is a little bit tricky for her at times, but she's getting it.......   Luis

Gunnar!!

Hi Brenda!!  Just wanted to let you know that Gunnar, formerly known as "Lollipop" from Peanut Butter's last litter is doing great! He is maturing so fast and he is very smart...he was house trained in about 3 weeks from day we got him! He has also learned to sit, give paw, and lay down on command. We are still working on "stay" and not jumping on people, but he's coming along! He is very sociable and loves to meet new people! He has brought much joy to our lives thus far and we look forward to many years with him! Thanks so much for selling us such a wonderful fun-loving pup!  Brittany & Justin

Rick James
Brenda and Ken, Greetings and Happy Fourth of July to you!
I am sending you a picture of how much he has grown and how much he looks like Rambo.  Brenda, outside of the fact that this is the HARDEST house training I have had over my life with 14 dogs, he is an amazing animal.  Loving, trusting and curious with a disposition that finds him calm in the face of loud noises or upsetting situations.  He may very well the second best dog we have ever had.  My current Mastiff Pixie still reigns supreme and her nanny-time with Rickjames has kept him from getting into much more trouble.  That is not the say that he hasn't ripped apart cardboard boxes and chewed through plastic jars of supplements but I would have no problem discussing temperament of your animals with Big City types who wondered if the dogs could handle the city lifestyle.  Kelly, who was as you remember very unsure about the prospect of the puppy has come to bond deeply with him.  I am down in Florida right now and plans on  commuting biweekly until I get my license to practice law in Florida.  The first month we have been completely apart which is the first length of time we have spent apart in our newly married life, and I believe she misses Rickjames more than me.  Regards Jud

Ellie!

Hi Brenda! Just wanted to let you know how great Ellie is doing! We love having her as part of our family! She loves to be with us all of the time. She also loves to lay by the front door in the sunlight. She has done very well with the house training. However, she has not done very well with the crate. She hates to be left by herself. We tried everything and finally gave in to having her sleep in our room at night. She does sleep through the night because she knows that we are there. The kids just love her! Thank you so much for this beautiful animal! Hope you and your family are doing well. Sincerely,The Dever Family

Mocha!

Hi Brenda! Just wanted to give you a quick update...Mocha is wonderful!!! I can't believe we brought her home six weeks ago. Mocha is doing very well with housebreaking... no accidents in about 4 weeks now. She is doing very well with crate training. Mocha no longer cries at all at night and she is able to go eight hours at night with no accidents. She just learned to go up and down stairs. Mocha loves to be outside...she really has been enjoying the warmer weather, although she hates rain and is afraid of the wind. She loves to run off leash and play with the dogs next door. Mocha is such a smart dog! She does sit, down, shake, stay, and come on command. Sarah has been trying to teach her to roll over. She will do anything for a treat. Mocha weighs about 22 pounds now. I have attached a few pictures for you to enjoy. Hope all is well with you and your family! Hope you aren't too lonely with all the puppies gone to their forever homes. And thank you again for everything! It has been a wonderful experience!
Take care,
Amy

Maya!

Hi Brenda-   Well it has been a month since we picked up Maya, so I wanted to write to you and let you know that she is doing GREAT! She is growing well, and her vet visits have checked out fine. Our vet was very impressed with how healthy she was on her first visit. She has a fantastic personality, always humorous, and always lovable. Our older boxer “Major” has greeted her with open paws, and he always has to be close to her. They have quickly become companions, and they make us laugh daily with their boxer antics. Maya is already crate trained thru the night, and is consistently going to the door to go out and “take care of business”. She is sitting on command, and walking with her lead without much difficulty. Her favorite toy is a big multi colored knot, and she still sleeps with her litter blanket in the crate. Please enjoy the enclosed pictures, and we will keep in touch as Maya grows to show you her progress.   My family and I cannot thank you and your family enough for the newest addition to our crew. There is no doubt in our minds that Maya’s early weeks of life in your loving environment made a positive impact on her personality and behavior. Thanks again – Brian and the crew

Mocha!

Hi Brenda!I just wanted to give you a quick update on Mocha. She is doing very well. Mocha is such a cuddle bug and we all are enjoying her so much! Mocha is not crazy about her crate at night...she cried on and off all night the first night, but things are slowly getting better. She just hates to be alone. She loves her dog bed and to play with her toys! Housebreaking is coming along slowly. We'll think she is doing better for 3 or 4 days and then she has an accident...at least all of her accidents have been in the kitchen and easy to clean up. She has been really good in the house otherwise. Mocha is not crazy about the cold, but learned quickly to go right out and do her business and then she runs back to the house for a treat. She quickly learned what treats are! Mocha is beginning to know her name and sits on command and does well playing fetch. We are working on down and stay with her now. Mocha has been eating very well...she saw out vet on 2/15 and weighed 10 lbs 2 oz (she gained 1 lb 4 oz from the last time you vet had seen her). Our vet gave her a clean bill of health, too. Mocha is always very happy to meet someone new and she has met a few of the dogs on our street...her favorite is the American Bulldog next door, Bella. What a difference a week made...she seems much more comfortable and relaxed now. Mocha is such a joy! I attached a few pics of Mocha since we brought her home. Hope all is well with you and your family! I will send you another update soon! Thank you for everything!
 Take care, Amy

Hi Brenda!

I have a few pictures of Reggie
attached, he is a big boy, but he is doing wonderfully.
Even the surgeon at Pennsylvania hospital said he was such a
great dog and has every quality a well bred bully should have.
Anyway I am writing to find out if and when you are breeding again?  I
have a friend who is interested and I told her she has to check you out
first.  Let me know

Toa!

Hi Brenda!
I hope this finds you and your family in good health and good spirits. Toa
is doing fantastic and he fits in so well with the family. He is just the
sweetest dog we've ever known. He gets compliments wherever we go. As a
matter of fact a driver for FedEx turned his truck around and stopped just
so he could get out of his truck and see him up close. It doesn't matter
where we are, Toa attracts attention because he's such a beautiful Boxer and
he's so well behaved. I'm attaching a photo that I took earlier this week. I
can't believe he's already 14 weeks old.  Thanks again for a wonderful,
family raised Boxer. We couldn't be happier.

Toa's 1 year old!

Hi Brenda,
I hope this finds you and your family doing well. I wanted to send photos around Toa's first birthday but my business has kept me extremely busy. However I managed to get a few shots today on our walk in the park. He's an amazing dog and loved by everyone who meets him. We can't go anywhere with him without people stopping to pet him as well as comment about how beautiful he is.  He is wonderful with children (I watch my Grand-Niece two days a week and have done so since she was 6 weeks old) and adults. Well behaved from  day one he's grown into a wonderfully mannered dog and cherished member of our family.

Sincerely,

Jason & Betty Rank

Optimus!

Hello Brenda,

Just wanted to share some pictures of Optimus who has been by far the best dog we have ever had. He is so much fun to have around and is part of our family. When we got him he was 12.6 lbs, and is now 21.6 lbs. He is just 14 weeks old, and is a growing boy. He loves chasing the cats and our silky terrier. He is learning to skateboard with pretty good success. Thanks you again for Optimus and have a great day.

Pharaoh!

Hi Brenda,
Just wanted to send you an update on Jr. We named him Pharaoh and he is developing into a wonderful dog. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him just like we did. He is currently 25 lbs and I was just wondering how big he was going to get. Do you know how much his parents weigh? The vet told us this was the best indicator. I have attached some pictures of him for you. Thanks for the great dog.    Rgds, Pat and Jackie

Layla!!

Hi Brenda! It has been about a month and half now and wanted to give you an update.Layla is everything we hoped for and more! she came to us very well socialized with other dogs and children! she loves meeting new people and pets! she does pretty well with our cat now so all is wel with our home life.
Some days we are gone for a period of time that would nto allow us to crate train, so we opted against it and have her isolated to the kitchen when we are gone.  She has been doing great! she is house broken for the most part, and was so after only about a week of solid training.everywhere we go people comment on her temperment and her color, she is just the best dog and I could not have asked for a better pick! working with you through the whole process was great and efortless.  Make sure if anyone wants a reference for you I would be more than welcome to speak on your behalf.Attached are some pictures, and we will check back in after she attends her first week of puppy school in the fall!  Hope to make it back to PA with her soon so she can show you what a great dog she is turning into.Take Care! Boudreau is 1 year old!

Hi Brenda

I've had these pictures of Boudreau waiting to send to you from his first birthday on March 23. Can you believe his litter was born a year ago?! We spent the day with him and took him to a gourmet doggy store down the street from us. He picked out a new toy and we got him a birthday cupcake and a few other treats. I've also included a picture of his famous trick, "bow". Most recently he has learned to shake and now thinks it is fun to shake everyone's hands! As you can tell we absolutely adore him and I am anxious for Patches next litter! Parents are Max & Patches

Hope all is well!
